This is the best way to play resident evil 4 (original). I won't talk about the remake here (psvr2) but the same thing applies.

Prior to playing RE4 on quest I always said the best way to play was on the wii as it added an extra level of Immersion and fun to the gun play. Well times that by 10 and you get the quest version. They had to rebuild a lot of the assets to make it work for vr and for it to look as best as it could be. Imagine stepping into the world of resident evil 4, how creepy, huge and harrowing it would be. The sound design and visuals are stunning and transport you to each location. The gun play works really well and the inventory system takes what worked in the flat screen and translates it perfectly in VR. Nothing is lost here and everything gained. The only thing that pulls you out of the immersion are the flat cuts scenes and the third person action moves such as kicking. The cut scenes aren't that bad as a lot of vr games do this to tell a story. The kicking and suplex moves though do take some getting used to.

They added mercenaries mode including some challenges which give the game even more life. If you are a fan of resident evil or survival horror then you really can't go wrong with the quest version.
