It's really too bad that some people are having such a hard time getting going on this game. I do it every day, I love it, and have no trouble at all. It definitely needs better instructions at the beginning though.

I think the trick is to start off by jogging on the floor in one spot at a mild pace letting your head bob up and down and don't try to look around. If you do, it will change your heading and mess you up. If this happens, just stop running, reorient yourself in the room, recenter your headset, and start again. If while running, you do want to look around you have to hold one of your grip buttons. This will lock your running direction and allow you to turn your head and look around at the beautiful scenery. Once you're done looking around, turn your head straight again and let go of the button. You do need to hold both your controllers while running or strange things will happen.

Don't bother trying to catch up to the AI jogger. You're just waisting your time as she is designed to stay ahead of you. Another trick is to place a small door mat on the floor and run on that In bare feet or socks so you can feel when you start to drift out of place. This way you will be able to maintain your position in the room without drifting around and banging into walls. Again, it takes patience and practice. Once you get used to it, you should have no problem at all.

It has a "treadmill mode" as well so you can run on a treadmill, but I find it not very intuitive. I prefer running on a Rebounder which allows me to change directions by turning my phisical body just like running on the floor. The beauty of running on the rebounder is that it takes all the shock off your legs and shins and makes it much easier to run long distances. I do 2 laps a day, apparently equivalent to 3 km of "real life" distance. BUT BE WARNED: This takes a lot of practice and patience so you don't loose your balance, wipe-out, and hurt yourself.

If the developers are reading this post, I BEG YOU, PLEASE continue to develop this app. I think it's hands down, the best jogging simulator available! I love the "jogging locomotion" idea and I'm surprised no one else is really using it because it's genius! All this app really needs is a bit more polish and add ons and I would gladly pay for that. I'm dying for some more environments and the ability to insert my own music.

Cheers and happy running!
