I plan on trying this again when my house is empty and I have a bit of free time, but the first run had me give up twice... first time because I couldn't TURN the entirety of my house so that the grid floor was lined up. My OCD was driving me crazy with the grid floor all wonky. Second time, same problem but I fought mentally to dismiss it but then when the anchoring part came, something hapopened and i guess it got skipped, or pu it somewhere and i missed that whole part,

Hi, thanks for feedback. I'm releasing an update today that should help new users, instructing them to start with a single room and find a good anchor, then build out from there. I think a bunch of users are getting lost in the setup screen, saddens me because theres a tonne of stuff that opens up once you get a basic setup working.

all that said, it never even occurred to me that people would want to floor lines to line up with real ones. The system has no way of knowing which direction you are facing when you first load the program, so its not possible to align it on startup. Check out the SNAKE minigame (turns your walls and object to grid/voxelized kinda objects) might satisfy you a bit.
