Sidequest locks Meta Quest Link refresh rate.

The refresh rate I pick in Meta Quest Link app is not effective unless I change it from Sidequest settings too? Why is that?

SideQuest overrides the headset settings, that's why.

is there a way I disable sidequest takeover? My settings in SQ is not persistent. when ever I restart it resets to default.

Yes, don't use SideQuest. If you want the headset to take back over you restart the headset.

If you want dynamic control, use an app like Oculus tray tool.

Maybe I didn't ask the right way.

Problem: Sidequest installed but it is not running but still resets the settings to default and takes over the quest link settings.

Question 1:

[While SQ is not running]

How can I stop sidequest taking over quest link settings without removing (I mean uninstalling) SQ from my system? (Even while SQ is not running in the background it is still dominant. Or is it working, a service maybe???)
How can I make SQ settings saved?
