This used to be a thing now its not. Oculus TV used to be a more descrete experience with a seperate environment and such. I don't remember, and it was on the GO at the time. Now it's just a meaningless distinction for 'video apps'. These apps are installed like a normal app, but can be found in the store, in the 'tv' channels page. Sometimes these apps are just 2d applications that stay inside the 2d interface, sometimes they are full seperate apps and then the oculus tv distinction is even more meaningless.

What needs to happen is that the tv needs to become a screen inside of your default home environment, and make it run 2d games and stuff, blah blah.
