I've just been directed to Oculus from here so I thought it would only be fair to leave a review on SideQuest. In short, for a free game, its brilliant. The standard rogue theme mixed with a raft-like function seems like a balanced combo. The game makes sure not to give too many powerups to ensure there is a challenge and there is a subtle level of customization which keeps it exciting enough. Spent hours with the first playthrough and enjoyed all the way. Great music, SFX, the graphics aren't too much and as stated above - gameplay is brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Ancient Dungeon, Shooter Games (or just anyone!).
