It's a really good faithful recreation, but that doesn't mean it's not devoid of bugs. Here's a list of bugs I encountered while playing;

  1. Granny would get stuck downstairs and wouldn't open the door leading upstairs. I would have to open the door for her and then she could roam around, but if I don't she would stay at the door walking in place until it was opened.
  2. Sometimes items wouldn't spawn. For example I was looking for the hammer to open the front door, but when I searched the entire house top to bottom I couldn't find the hammer, including a few other things.
  3. Granny got stuck behind a counter and in a wall when I messed with the spider. I don't know if these two things are connected, but when I went to experiment with the spider I got not only the spider stuck behind the chest in the floor below, but Granny got stuck behind a drawer and in a wall aswell.
  4. Boxes are an issue. When I try to move anything apart of the envoirment, except items, it would be hard to do so, making it difficult to enter small tunnels.
  5. I oddly couldn't feed the bird. When I offered the seed, nothing happened, and when I dropped it on him, it wouldn't let me pick it back up.

That's all that I could find, my suggestions would be to add a height slider, a togglable crouch button (because going under beds basically requires for your head to be on the floor,), and for it to be way darker. Besides everything here that's wrong, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. Great job, and keep working on it!

I actually added a "Height Slider" already in the newest update. To use the height settings, open the menu (Which is the all the way bottom button, on the left controller) and press the height settings button. A new menu would pop up showing a reset height button. Now, just stand straight, while looking forward, and press the button. And boom! You are set to roughly how tall you are in the real Granny. And while the menu is open, change the grab method from Close Grab to Far Grab.

Bug discussion #1. I found out why this is happening and have fixed it, but I will be sending the new update with the bug fixes, once all these bugs are dealt with. What I did, was add an if statement in the ontriggerenter method, and it was checking if the player ran into it. Under that if statement was the if(collider.tag == "SmallDoor") statement. but I completely forgot to add the hitplayer(); method in the if player collided statement, and the result was. It checks if the player tag collided, and on the same object, it was also checking if the Smalldoor tag collided. But because something can't have two tags, nothing would ever happen. (Until I fixed it)

Bug discussion #2. This actually isn't a bug, the items do spawn in fact, just some times there hard to get to. For example on present 1 (See https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Item_Locations for more info) the hammer is in the well, and to get the winch handle, you need to shoot the target in the sewer room, (With the shotgun or the crossbow) And on present 4 you also need to shoot the said target in the said sewer room (People just miss the sewer room almost all the time).

Bug discussion #3. I actually knew of this bug a long time ago. When I was making the spider, I saw that sometimes, when you outrun the spider to the stairs the spider would teleport and be stuck by the chest (Or even just suddenly with no action). But because this would only happen if you were basically trying to break it, so I didn't count it as a major bug. Also, when you outrun the spider, he won't be able to go down the stairs, rather he just teleports to the top of the stairs after a certain point. (Although this isn't intentional, It kina helps to prevent the player from luring the spider downstairs to get stuck somewhere and get the item without using any items. Rather making them restart the game if something important was up there)

Bug discussion #4. This one I tried to fix, (To make it easier) but because of the movement system. You just stop right at a moveable object when trying to walk into it. But how you're going to have to push it, is getting up beside them (With the joystick), then walk up inside of it (by moving your head) and the boxes (or any pushable object) will move. After you walk a little bit in real life to get the boxes into "pushing mode", you can now use the joystick to push it more out of your way.

Bug discussion #5. You feed the bird by putting the food in the boul strait ahead of the bird (Which is also on top of a barrel). All the bird feed box needs to be doing, is touching the boul for it to fill up and the bird to eat it up.

Thank you for the big bug report, it really helps me a lot.

Also, if you want the place to be darker. Get the lightmap version by following the instructions at the bottom of the description. Or just turn on dark mode. (Or even both)
