The Wire Loop Game VR is one of those games that will push your patience and hand-eye coordination to the limit. It takes the beloved childhood game Buzz Wire and reimagines it in virtual reality. The result? A fantastic VR experience that works surprisingly well.
This skill-based game offers plenty of challenging levels, with a hard mode for those who crave an even steeper climb. It's perfect for players looking to test their dexterity and overcome frustration – just like the original!
While I initially envisioned this as a relaxing afternoon activity, the urge to conquer those levels quickly brought back the competitive spirit from my childhood Buzz Wire days. This isn't a game where you can dawdle – the timer keeps the pressure on, encouraging you to improve your skills and complete the levels quickly.
One minor drawback is the lack of scene rotation or a rest mode. Teleportation is also absent, making it a bit cumbersome to reposition the virtual table. Fortunately, the game is currently in Early Access on App Lab, so hopefully these issues will be addressed in future updates.
Another concern is the inability to use the left controller wirelessly. As a left-handed player, having to remove the battery for every session is a nuisance. This is another feature that needs improvement.
Overall, The Wire Loop Game VR has great potential. Once the mentioned issues are ironed out, it will be an incredibly fun and challenging VR experience with plenty of levels to keep you entertained. While some features weren't readily apparent, the core gameplay is undeniably fun and engaging.
