Demeo Battles is a whole new level of fun. This time around, Demeo has stepped away from the long story based campaign and is now competitive turn based PvP action for 1-4 players. No longer will you be stuck in long games, dragging out for hours. Now the matches are between 10-15 minutes long, with all the combat and strategy you love.
The game is a mix of table top meets competitive card combat, feeling much more engaging. Even though the gameplay is much shorter then the first game, you will experience more combat and strategic moves this time around.
One of the things that killed the first game of Demeo for me, was how long the gameplay dragged out and just started to feel stale over time. This is not the case in Demeo Battles. Even though the gameplay is much shorter, you will be engaged in much more combat time and playing the right cards feels much more strategic.
If you were not a fan of the first game, don't let that turn you off of this one. The basic structure of the first game is here, but the gameplay is completely deferent and feels more like a competitive card game like Pokémon.
If you want to experience some fine PvP action in a table top game, this is a must play.
