Thanks for the review. I'm sorry to hear you experienced motion sickness. This app aims to allow the user to experience the feeling of weightlessness and so is not suited to those who suffer from motion sickness (the same for being a real astronaut I guess!). This is why I state on the Oculus Store page "if you suffer motion sickness in VR, this app probably isn't for you." and also why there is a 20 minute free trial of the App before purchasing, so users can establish if they will enjoy a weightless space walk or not prior to purchase.
The resolution is unfortunately capped by the capabilities of the Quest processing. Unlike other apps where the Earth is a pre-rendered static photo, in Spacewalk VR Experience, users can spin the Earth to any position, set weather patterns and view at any time of day or night including sunsets and sun rises. These stretch the current headset's processing power to the max. I would like to increase the resolution, but sadly there's no room for higher resolution without removing features at the moment. The videos of the App here and on the store pages are taken from a Quest 2, so should be indicative of the resolution users can expect.
