I'm really sorry you had a game breaking bug. You're right "it's not a lot to ask" to make sure the game actually works, for sure.

You can definitely climb and grapple hook with either hand. Climb with the grip buttons. You pull yourself up on the top of a platform by pulling toward you when you get to the top.

On the menus, I have now uploaded an updated build that should fix them.

On the jump button, I have now uploaded an updated build with the jump moved to the A button, grapples on B and Y and left hand radial / level select menu brought up by pressing and holding the X button and hovering over the option you want (home = back to menus, back arrow = back to game, numbers = instant jump to a level. Also you can now jump by swinging your arms in an upward motion if you don't want to jump with a button.

For the falling through the geometry, which is the biggest thing, I swear I have played the level a million times and not had the issue. You're not playing in seated mode, right? I always play standing; I'm just trying to think of what the delta might be. Anyway, I will keep testing because obviously that is not supposed to occur, when you get the top of a platform, if you pull toward you with hands in theory you should pull yourself up to the platform. Again, I'm really sorry that occurred and I hope I can get a fix in the next patch in a day or two so that you can enjoy the game. If people don't like the game that's totally cool but I don't want it to be because of an easily fixable problem.
