Paintball Playground is the VR game I really needed in my life. It's a simple yet SUPER Fun online multiplayer shooter in VR.

Keep in mind that I reviewed the App Lab (early access) version of the game, and more updates are getting in.

It's paintball in VR, featuring a practice/sandbox area to practice before you jump into the online multiplayer. The game features 3v3 team fights (blue vs. red), where the goal is to eliminate the other team and tap the button at the end to move to the next round. The team with the most points at the end wins the match.

Other cool features include the ability to sprint, jump, and even slide by pressing the stick key (spring) and crouching in real life (IRL). You rotate with your body, although I would like an option to rotate with the stick as well for accessibility reasons.

It seems that the bugs I had in the previous version were fixed in the new update that was released today, when I made my review.

The devs are amazing and active on the game's official Discord channel.

Overall, Paintball Playground is shaping out to be a fantastic VR paintball game. It's great for those who love tag shooter games and are searching for a great reimagination of the recreational shooting sports game in VR.
