Do I have to re-purchase Doom3 from Steam in order for this to work? I've had the original Doom 3 game for seveal years now and was hoping I could use it. Thanks

If you have it on steam then yes.

You need the game files, doesnt matter if from Steam, GOG, or on original CD. Be sure it is OG Doom 3 not BFG edition!
