It was way too early to leave Europe just yet, so I headed to Berlin in Germany. I was not sure what I was looking for and what type of music I wanted to hear, so my decision was to find something absolutely new to expand my horizons. By browsing the Internet I found out that a techno party is taking place in the neighborhood. I thought to myself, maybe I was not that old yet and I could have some fun there. I put on my fancy outfit to blend in with the crowd and I was ready to go! When I arrived at the party, the first thing I noticed was that it was loud, tons of people were going crazy on the dance floor. No one really cared about the old guy among them, so I could enjoy this totally new experience in peace. I understood then what young people saw in this clubbing lifestyle and why they were enjoying it so much! Capital of music, culture, home of the Statue of Liberty. After my trip through the Wild West it was nice to be around people again. First on my list of places to visit was a small bar where my dad used to take me when I was younger, a place where many popular singers started their music careers. I was disappointed when the bartender told me that today there wouldn’t be any live performances. So I got a drink and started walking around, looking for one specific photo from many hanging on the wall. In the photograph I was searching for there was a younger me with my dad and my friend Maria. When I finally found it, someone else also found meIt was already 40 years, but I immediately knew who said Hi behind my back. It was my old time friend Maria, today known to most as an artist Howly Carter! I still couldn’t believe that that small girl I once knew became such a star! She told me a story about the night we met, how it impacted her when she saw me so deeply in love with music one could even call me obsessed with it at that point of time. It impressed her so much that she began singing herself and while she could still not believe it herself, she became an RB star. I’m not going to lie, I’m really proud to be a motivation for starting a career for such a big star! We spent the rest of the evening catching up, talking about her career, my job in a pet daycare and other stuff that happened in those long 40 years. She didn’t change at all she wanted to give me something to remember her by, so she gave me a vinyl record with a song from her upcoming album! I couldn’t believe my luck, when I noticed a poster that they were going to perform a concert in a town I was visiting during my trip around Texas. I rushed into the saloon, bought a ticket and somehow got a seat in the first row! Crowd went wild when they entered the stage but as soon as Quinton hit the floor with the heel of his cowboy boot, there was nothing but silence in the crowd. I was amazed by their performance, how much passion and love for the music they were expressing while playing their instruments. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! But my luck has not run out just yet and there was one more surprise in the store for me. After the concert Quint announced that a ticket with a number seven on it was winning a special, limited edition music disc! Guess who was the owner of said ticket! Of course it was me! And that's how I got the Quint Quinton record. Be sure to treasure the record and play it often in the jukebox. woof woof We welcome you to a devblog which, this time, is strictly dedicated to the dog! We know many of you may feel a little disappointed not hearing anything new about the cat but our doggo has feelings, we can’t just leave it alone, but we promise to share with you our progress on the cat in the next devblog!So, what’s the story? In the last devblog we showed you a little teaser about a recently developed mechanic new set of dog behaviours. Now it’s time to tell you more about it!Everytime you start a new game, doggo will receive a randomized value for three statistics:Bravery,Obedience,Eagerness to play.Brave dogs won’t be afraid of vacuum cleaner, claw clippers or water. Obedient ones will try to do their best with those tasks. Still, you will have to keep them calm during the process they know that you want to take good care of them, but they are a little afraid. If the last statistic value is high, you won’t be given a chance for a little break Those doggos will bring you toys, bark at you and beg you with puppy eyes to force you to play with them. Hi, we are pleased to welcome you to the PetsVR devblog. We hope you enjoyed our last Devlog : Now let’s move to what we have done recently and what we are planning to do next.Our guess is that you want to hear more details about the cat. We’ve made a lot of progress on this topic. The room is already built and waiting for a delivery from furniture shop fancy stuff means delaaaaays. Grumpy is swimming happily in his aquarium we know that his face doesn't express it, but you have to trust us on that and the cat, armed with its new set of animations, is curiously roaming around, checking every corner of the room. We are making big progress every day but there's still a lot of work ahead of us. We promise we’re getting closer and closer!And what about a dog and his room? There are two upcoming things that we want to share with you! First of all, we are working on expanding the set of dog behaviours to provide you with a bigger challenge in raising a doggo. Second of all, the jukebox is almost done! We have already received all covers of music albums that will be available to play. And the music is just... so, so gooood. It was money well spent when it comes to our speakers.The minigame, that is also part of the jukebox, is crazy addictive. meow, meow Hi! We wanted to share with you our plans for future updates of Pets VR.First of all we wanted to officially reveal the model of the cat check out the video!! You might have already found it in the game the kitten was hidden in the pictures that hang on the wall next to the clippers. The video also shows the early stages of animating a model, so you'll have a better comparison when we finish our work and show you the final version.Next thing that we are working on is the option menu. We want to give you more control over movement options and ingame settings that you can adjust to make your experience more personalized. You will be able to adjust height, choose rotation type and many more to provide you with the best possible gaming experience. woof woof! PetsVR 1.0.1 has been released! Not only does it include bug fixes for issues that have been reported over the last few days, but also some new features were added to the game! In this update we mainly focused on providing fixes for such issues as: Tutorial instructions not disappearing after task completion Toys collisions Incorrect display of some of textures Dog freezing during the gameWe also added some new features: now, when you hold pliers close to dog’s front paws, it will hand you each paw to make clipping easier for both of you! :DAdditionally, when you enter the main menu of the game, you will be able to grab the paper from the mailbox and meet the whole Actum Games team that created Pets VR also including our dog coworkers!.That’s all for this update don’t worry, cats are on their way :D Remember to follow us on social media so that you don’t miss any news or sneak peeks on future updates.
