Hey it's Charble from the Pavlov discord here with a FAQ covering the most common questions about Pavlov: Shack!Pavlov just loads forever and ever! What do I do? Black screen on startupThis is a common issue with the sidequest install, if you find that your Pavlov installation just keeps on loading black screen with 3 white dots, a reinstall will be the solution 99 of the time.My name is set as lil'peepeeYou missed a very important step of installation, setting your name. This can be fixed by going to the wrench in Sidequest, and scrolling down to Pavlov where it has an option to set your Pavlov name.Can i play with SteamVR Pavlov players on Pavlov: Shack?No, the performance difference and graphical difference between the two versions is too big for crossplay. However there are talks of making a version of Shack downloadable on PC to allow the two platforms to play, but this isn't confirmed.Why no sniper scopes?We want them just as much as you do, but the quest has it's limits. Luckily, there is an engine upgrade planned for the future that should hopefully allow for sniper scopes.Whats the deal with the WW2 update?Again, the quest has it's limits so it's hard to squeeze everything into the game. The devs are very dedicated to getting what they can into Shack. Some things are for sure coming, including all of the weapons and new WW2 player models. As for Tanks and the map Stalingrad, It's harder to say, but we are fairly confident that they will both be available in Shack to some extent in the future.Will Shack be on applabs?Absolutely! The game has already been submitted to Oculus and is now just awaiting approval!What is planned for the Future??Build 24. New characters player skins. New UI. New Pause Menu. Quest 2 Improvements ie. Gore, Specular Reflections Shiny Guns. Loads of bug fixes. Loads of small detail attention. Planned Additions sometime in the future.Parties. Tanks and other vehicles maybe.
