Quest says not Detected

Connection Status Quest Detected Dev Mode Enabled ADB Detected Device Authorized X

It is telling me :

Your computer sees the Quest and it looks like developer mode is on. An ADB device is also connected. If SideQuest isn't working, you can try the following things:

Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking anything related to sidequest or 'adb'.
Uninstall and reinstall SideQuest
Try rebooting the Quest and your computer
if you've done all these things and are still having issues, you can reach out to SideQuest support.

Nothing is working.. how can i fix it please

Here are the main reasons your headset is not authorising with the Advanced Installer:

USB cable. Try a different one, preferably brand new. <-THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON!
USB port. Try a different port.
Debug mode is bugged or needs re-verification in the Meta Quest app. Toggle it off and back on again to be sure.
Delete any secondary account on the headset, as that account can't sideload.
Restarting the headset may help, too.
The device you're using has driver issues, so restart the PC.
Install Meta Quest Link for PC may help with driver issues.
It is worth considering a factory reset of the Quest if you've tried everything else.
Install the Android app instead and use that https://sdq.st/mobile

In-VR app.

Try an Android phone or a different PC with the web installer to install the app. https://sdq.st/download
Check in the Unknown sources from the 'All' drop-down in the app library for sideloaded apps.

Be sure to confirm the USB debugging prompt in the headset before you can install the app or connect via USB to Advanced Installer. If you don't see this prompt, one of the issues above is the culprit, and you won't be able to continue, Try A - B testing with everything you can associated to the point above to resolve your issue.

If you need more ADB or debugging help, Meta Support can also help, as it's used in their ODH (Meta/Oculus developer hub). You could also install that and see the same issue with connecting.

If you're unable to toggle debug mode again, contact Meta support to look into your account. Be sure you've added a phone number and 2FA to your Meta account or you won't be able to toggle debug mode on.

Thank you so much for your response. I have tried every troubleshoot step possible but there is an issue. It never shows me the allow devices message on my quest. It used to before, but after factory resetting, it won't allow me anymore. I am pretty sure that this is the problem

You need to turn on debug mode in the Meta Quest app.

As sideloading and ADB connections (all that SideQuest uses) aren't exclusive to us, the Meta Quest Dev Hub also uses them and would have the same issue there. So, be sure to contact Meta support, as the headset could also be faulty.

All the best with your troubleshooting. Be sure to include all of this in GPT and see what it says as well.
