I have completed all steps including enabling Wireless debugging and Successfully connecting an pairing the device. However side Quest VR still sHow the Wi-fi ADB is unknown. How to correct?
If you're referring to the in-VR app, you can install this with any device that has a Chrome browser (excluding iPhone and iPad) from here https://sdq.st/download
Once installed, click the WiFi icon at the top and allow the USB debugging prompt; then, you can change settings and install games from that app.
If you're having trouble, uninstall and reinstall the app from the link above.
If you're using the mobile app, just connect it with a USB cable, and then while the stick is plugged in, click the Wifi icon at the bottom to switch to wireless mode. You'll need to redo this whenever you turn off the headset or phone. https://sdq.st/mobile is the link to the mobile app.
All the best.
Thanks. I already have the side quest. VR app installed Period. Issue is I cannot. Abel The Adb Wifi period. I have followed instructions. And I'm able to pair wireless debugging. To ADB. But when I returned to side Quest VR The Wi-fi, Although it looks active, actually reads Wifi is unknown. And therefore no longer works. Period. That is my issue.
Uninstall and reinstall the app, period. From https://sdq.st/download
Once done, you'll be able see the USB debugging prompt in the headset, once you click the WiFi icon, period. After that, you can change the settings of the headset and install apps on SideQuest, period.
for clarity, which app Are you recommending that I uninstall and reinstall?
The in-VR app. As you don't have a PC, that's the only app there is, and you have not mentioned a mobile phone.
i reinstall but it's the same issues before. The Wi-fi looks to be open. But it says Wi-fi adb Unknown. When I click on it, it says please run ADB Shell PM Grant quest.side.vr Android. permission. dot.dot.. As a reminder, I don't have a PC or a USB link to connect with so I'm trying to do all of this via Wifi.
