Unknown Sources Missing from Quest 3

Had problems with QGO so I uninstalled it per instructions and restarted the Quest. When it was done restarting I tried to find the Unknown Sources to reinstall QGO but it's gone. I disabled/enabled Developer mode multiple times, restarted the Quest multiple times but nothing is working. I reuploaded the APK from Sidequest multiple times as well. Yes, I know Unknown Sources is not in the same place as it used to be but it is not in the Applications dropdown either. It's just gone.....Currently running v.71 of the Quest software.

Hi,

As you've already toggled debug mode, I can only ask if you have multiple accounts on the headset.

If not, please contact the developer of the QGO to get support for their app.

I'm on v71 also and can sideload and see unknown sources as well.

I do have multiple accounts on the headset but I did when I first installed QGO and didn't have any issues.

Please delete the non-admin account to avoid these issues.

/sigh.....well that can't happen lol. The wife wouldn't be very happy. Guess that was a wasted $10. Thank you for the help.

Sideloading APKs isn't exclusive to SideQuest. Please blame Meta for the issues you're having.

The only other thing I can suggest is to make sure you're signed into the admin account on the headset to see unknown sources or contact the dev of QGO.

I personally don't recommend anyone install that app due to the permissions it requires, which is why it's not on SideQuest.
