Changing the render resolution only forces the resolution increases. Some games and apps are inherently lower quality.

SideQuests settings to change the resolution is only an ADB command. In my tests on various apps, I've found it to work fine on apps like Banter and Superhot.

If you're refering to a specific game contact the developer for more details about the quality of the textures, or effects they may have used. And if you're refering to the pass through, please contact Meta support.

Install OVR metrics to see the FPS drop once you turn up the resolution to max. I can assure you, it works perfectly.
