Sidequest App Stuck on Downloading 100% after first run

I have tried installing the app on two different computers. I have run as admin and tired the "just for me" version of the install. Every time I get hung up "Downloading... 100%" with a spinning wheel. I let the wheel sit for 4-5 hours earlier just to test but had no luck. I even created firewall entries to unblock all TCP and UDP ports (can't flat disable the firewall) but can see no change.

Any other ideas to troubleshoot or a log I can find?

This issue turned out to be 2 fold.

When I originally tested with 2 different computers I used the same cable, which turned out to be faulty.
When I switched cables I found that one of the PC's had restrictions that prevented executables from running in the "appdata" folder. Even though the install of the program was installed in Program Files, when Sidequest is run is uses SCRCopy to call for updates form the appdata folder. The executable was failing without any error or notice.

I also discovered issues trying to use sidequest to load mods for accounts that are not the primary on a headset. This isn't specifically an issue with sidequest.

Try using the in-VR app instead. Install with any device that has a Chrome browser Android phone or Chromebook here https://sdq.st/download Try restarting the pc and using a different internet connection also

The in-VR web installer worked, but can I use that to install custom APKs like the full version?

Try using a different internet connection to install the PC app. Your ISP might be blocking some parts of Github.
