Hi,

I'm sorry you're having trouble getting set up for sideloading with SideQuest. Here are a few things that could be the problem:

• Developer Mode isn't on the Meta Quest app. Toggle it if it's already on.

• You're on a secondary account in the Quest, not the main one.

• You've not yet allowed the USB debugging prompt inside the headset.

• The USB cable is faulty.

• The phone you're using is not supported. Some Xiaomi and Firetabs have been reported not to work.

Please remember that you can't download and install sideloaded games directly from the SideQuest site.

Once all is good, you’ll see a USB debugging RSA fingerprint prompt on the headset; this is the only way to authorise the headset. Allowing the data/files prompt will not authorise the device.
