blank screen after plugging in headset

so whenever i try setting up sidequest my headset is perfectly fine until i plug it in once it plugs in then the screen on my headset turns black. i have dev mode enabled and have done everything i have tried to do and was wondering if anyone can help me

On my Meta Quest 3, I had the same problem. However, the notification is visible if you lift the headset slightly away from your face. Could not use hand gestures like that but with a controller, clicked the always allow no problem.
