Trouble Connecting Meta Quest 3 w/ USB

Hello! I'm trying to connect my Meta Quest 3 to my computer, but I'm not getting the pop-up to authorize the use of the files on the Meta Quest. I was wondering if this was a USB issue, or if my Quest just isn't giving me the pop-up? My PC also isn't saying that its detecting the Quest, so I was wondering if that is also a USB issue? Or maybe I have to plug it in to the right USB port?

Hello there,

Try restarting your headset and switching debug mode off and on in the Meta Quest app.

A defective USB cable could be the culprit. Experiment with other cables you possess or borrow one before purchasing a new one. Try different USB ports and flip the Type-C end 180 degrees.

Re-verifying their developer account (using a credit card instead of a phone number), toggling dev mode, and factory resetting have worked for some users.

If possible, use another PC or the SideQuest app from the Android Play Store for testing. to https://sdq.st/mobile

If you're on a secondary account, it won't work.
