Is it required to be tethered to PC via USB cable to play games I've copied to my Quest 3?

I was under the impression that once they're copied I can switch back to WiFi mode to play them? Is this not the case?

You only need to be tethered on the initial USB debugging prompt, and once wireless mode is on, you can unplug the USB.

You'll need to do this every time your restart the headset.

I've clicked always allow on this computer so I shouldn't have to do that? But the problem remains SideQuest isn't anywhere on the headset. I'm going to try and install it again. Maybe something didn't copy across.

Or you're on a secondary account. Be sure you're on the main admin account.

Once sidequest games are installed, you don’t need to be connected to play them, they work fully stand-alone inside your headset at that point.
