I'm trying to load asphalt 9 for android on my Quest. Just for the fun of it. I don't care if it doesn't work out great. But, the problem is, I don't even know how to get started, because, you see. There are many apk's, not only would i not know which one to run, i don't know what the likelihood of running a random one is to just break something, and yeah. not a great time. Any suggestions? I assume this is one of a very small subset of games that does this.
Hi traveller!
Games and apps on SideQuest can sometimes be tough to crack. This could be because they're either under development or targeted towards advanced users. For game-specific questions, it's a good idea to reach out directly to the game developer. Links to their social media and Discord can be found on the game's page on the right side.
If you're grappling with a tricky technical procedure, don't hesitate to ask for help from friends or family. Just remember, this community is focused on supporting SideQuest-related issues, so our capacity to help beyond that is limited. We hope you find the help you need soon!

I don't know if this is some kind of bot response or what, but in the chance that it's human, Gameloft absolutely will not help. Lol. They HATE chromebooks; you will get banned over and over until your account is permanently banned, when playing on a chromebook is an objective disadvantage. There is 0 chance that they will help me install it on a Quest (Even despite the fact it's a disadvantage as well.) And "friends and family" seriously? I was hoping for a response from someone that could actually "Support" me. (For example, tell me that it's NOT ok to install each APK until the app works.) I'm a hardcore windows user and dabbling in linux, but i'm not very familiar with android; i've only rooted a tablet in android 7.1 (I think.. It was lollipop.) because it had a debilitating and well-documented OS bug.
SideQuest won't work on Chromebooks to sideload apks to the Quest.
We also don't provide game-specific support.
