i did all the steps for the thing but then it says device not authorized

Be sure to also allow the USB debugging RSA fingerprint prompt inside the headset. If you never see it, make sure dev mode is one, you have a good cable and you're not on a secondary account.

Hello there,

Try restarting your headset and switching dev mode off and on.

A defective USB cable could be the culprit. Experiment with other cables you possess or borrow one before purchasing a new one. Try different USB ports and flip the Type-C end 180 degrees.

Re-verifying their developer account (using a credit card instead of a phone number), toggling dev mode, and factory resetting have worked for some users.

If possible, use another PC or the SideQuest app from the Android play store for testing.
