It won't connect to my headset

So I plug in a cable to my headset and phone and then a prompt comes up on my phone saying "allow sidequest to access quest 2". I press allow but then a prompt on sidequest saying "you may need to accept a prompt on your phone" won't go away. Btw I did press alow on the headset.

Hello there.

You've only accepted a Data/Files prompt in the headset and not the USB debugging RSA fingerprint prompt.

If you never see the prompt I've mentioned, It could be one or some of the following;

a faulty USB cable
an incompatible compatible phone with no ADB support over OTG
you're not on the Quest admin account
dev mode isn't enabled in the Meta Quest app
