Whats difference between pc app, quest app and webpage?

I have downloaded app but it seems to be a basic app to install sidequest to quest - no store, nothing. The web page seems more like a store, but doesnt install anything to quest. The Sidequest app in quest has no search option, just thousands of games to scroll through.

Whats the 'clear as day' method of sideloading an app? preferably, just link me to it please.

Hi,

The Android 12 update (v51+) has broken some of the filtering search functionality of the headset app, but we're working on an update to come out soon, sorry for the inconvenience 🙏

We have a few options, so people can use what option is best for them.

Advanced installer is what I normally use, but it's not for everyone.

Easy installer is the easiest way to get installed to the headset with a pc.

The phone app can install games to the headset when connected, as well as install SideQuest to the headset too. (Search for SideQuest on the play store)

You can't install games straight from the site, Any app that shows a 'install (SideQuest)' button, once clicked will push the installation to Advanced Installer, if it's installed and running in the PC, and the headset is connected.
