VR Sync download link not working?

Hi there, I work in Healthcare Simulation and have encountered the following confusion:

We us the app "VR Sync" that is downloaded from SideQuest currently on 6 Oculus 2 Headsets and 1 Oculus Go.

We installed this app about a month ago by following the instructions on their website and by follow the instructions here. All seven instances were installed without issue and have worked perfectly.

We now have an additional four headsets that we wish to add the app to, but I have found that the link to download VR Sync appears not to be working.

Sidequest is installed on the headset already, but when I click on the download all that happens is that a green box appears that says: "Sending to SideQuest..." and nothing else. No download appears on the computer or the attached Oculus 2.

Am I missing a step?

The application on Sidequest has been updated. Please try again and let me know if it works :)

Hi, We are getting reports the Quest v51 firmware update is causing issues for multiple apps including VR Sync. We are investigating this and will provide an update soon if necessary.

Hello there,

Yes, a few steps. But I'll point you in the right direction.

I would recommend following the Advanced installer tutorial from our download page. https://youtu.be/lFTXv2aScJ8

You can't use the site directly to put games on the headset, you need to download the PC or Android app to install the games, or install our 'Sideception' SideQuest app into the headset for you to browse and download in there.

Hey there!

Inside your headset, on the home screen, you'll see a button on the right with a 3x3 square grid inside it labelled 'App Libary', click that and go to the top right of the new window that pops up and you'll see 'All', click that and select 'Unknown Sources' at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Now you'll see all the games you've installed from SideQuest and then be able to select them to start playing!
