The update does'nt work between the sideloaded version and the app lab version. You must uninstall and the reinstall it to have the App Lab version and then it will auto update correctly.

Beware you will lost your saves in the process so do a backup before you uninstall so you can put them back in the folder when the app lab version is installed.
