I've played all of Age of Horror on Quest and I've played the first missions of ET, and ET is 1,000 times better. Age of Horror feels like Plutonia being dumb difficult because of insta-kill across the map hit-scanners, and the level structure is mostly crap with extremely hidden objectives forcing a lot of backtracking and searching everywhere and Youtube playthrough watching. Enemy Territory is fun, almost on par with the original campaign and a must play for RTCW fans. The level structure is great(because they are identical to or in the style of the original ET) and feels kinda like a doom mod, with firefights against a dozen enemies feeling like a step up in difficulty over the original campaign, but it makes sure your having fun.
How to Install:
- Go to Mod.io, find the mod, and download the single player campaign .exe that is meant for RTCWQuest https://www.moddb.com/mods/et/downloads
- Open .exe(if your computer says not safe, ignore it and run anyway) and choose the settings you want(there are a few extra optional addons like new gun sounds)
- let the download of the mod complete and copy the ET folder from wherever you sent it and paste it in the RTCWQuest folder(NOT MAIN!)
- copy the .wolfconfig and vr_weapons from Main to the ET folder.
- open game, go to options->mods->ET, launch it, click play, cycle through the difficulty and time settings (because for some reason you can't click the map locations until you do this), then click on the first mission and you are in.
known bugs: sometimes you can get stuck by companions backing you into a corner, and sometimes by mounted guns if you don't hold move when exiting the gun. You would have to load a save if this happens
