Authorization issue for macOS

This Saturday I have been dealing with a nuisance called side quest for the two days of the weekend and I’m getting pissed of and I’m going smash this shit and I need help with this so bad it says it’s not authorizing the quest or the Mac and I can’t get the screen to show up that says that I can let side quest in my quest and there are no videos of how to fix the issue and this is getting irritating please side quest devs please send communications to me please I would like to talk in discord and thank for the nuisance that was this app.

Hello there,

It might be worth restarting your headset, also disabling and re-enabling dev mode.

You may also have a faulty USB cable. Try a few spare cables you may have or if possible, borrow one just to be sure before potentially buying a new one. Also try using different USB ports as well as flipping the type C end around 180 degrees.

In some cases users have had to re-verify their developer account too ( by adding a credit card rather than a phone number ). In some cases toggling dev mode and factory resetting has also helped.

If possible, try using another PC from a friend or family member too and try the SideQuest app from the play store on Android.
