okay, i'm in the app from the advanced installer right now (actually typing this from the app, in fact!), and it does recognize the headset plugged in in the top left corner (yay!), but it still has the same thing going on in the setup section (only "device authorized" is green; everything else is red). also, it suggests i download the sidequest app in my headset, and when i click the button that supposedly does that, it buffers before going back to the button (and appears to do nothing). nothing appears to happen on the headset while that buffers, either. i've tried searching "sidequest" in the store within the headset, but it doesn't find any results. not sure where to go from here ;^^
