Trying to download ADB drivers on SteamDeck through Sidequest, but Sidequest wont detect my headset.

As the post said, I want to install the ADB drivers and saw Sidequest would do it for me. So I downloaded the Linux version of Sidequest, connected my headset which has developer mode on, and launched it. I restarted both my Q1 and SteamDeck afterwards to see if it'll fix it. It always just says Quest Not Detected. :(

Hello there,

I've done this on the Steamdeck and works fine. You shouldn't need to download any ADB drivers. If you're on the desktop Linux environment then use this link https://github.com/SideQuestVR/SideQuest/releases/download/v0.10.32/SideQuest-0.10.32.tar.xz and run it from the folder.

You could also have a faulty USB cable and all this is a red herring. Try another cable first.
