Disabling the controller buttons during game play in Quest 2

Hi, I'm hoping someone can tell me if there is a way of disabling the controller buttons in the Quest 2. The option is within the settings of the Quest 1, however, checking with Oculus, they tell me this functionality is only available in the settings of the Quest 1 and won't be offered within Quest 2 (Why this isn't an option for the upgraded version of the headset is mind boggling to me...but common sense sometimes doesn't prevail in this world). I am looking to disable the buttons for games like Syntrhiderz and Audio Trip because it's extremely distracting and disruptive, when I'm in the game going along with the songs and I accidently tap a controller button and it halts the game. Oculus said that SteamVR would work to do this, however, when I went to the Steam site, they only offer the SteamVR app for the Rift. Is there another fix of which anyone is aware? I appreciate any feedback.

Hello there,

Maybe get some 3d printed covers for the button or cut something off blister package and velcro it over?

If you're running through stream, just set up a temporary binding that doesn't use the buttons.

I thank you kindly for your response and input. I was looking more for a settings configuration. I'm not sure what "running through stream" means; I also wouldn't know how to set up a temporary binding. I appreciate your time and suggestion. All the best to you, as well.
