Device cant be authorized?

ive followed the set up steps twice over and i still cant get my quest 2 authorized. It with briefly tell me im good to go, everything connected, and then immediately go back to red under "Device Authorized". A little help please? Im a bit lost now. Im on the advanced installer currently, and had no issues with simpler version beforehand.

Hello there,

Sounds like you may have a faulty USB cable. Try a few spare cables you may have or if possible, borrow one just to be sure before potentially buying a new one. Also try using different USB ports as well as flipping the type C end around 180 degrees.

If you’re able to get a USB connected even for just a moment, use the ‘Enable wireless mode’ in the SideQuest app.

I would recommend using the easy installer next time you find a working cable and put Sidequest straight onto the headset.
