Nothin happens after entering 6 digit code

I've gone through the setup a few times now and have gotten to the point where I get a 6 digit code on my quest 2. I visit the site and enter the code... but nothing happens on my quest, I'm seeing the same screen with the code. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I've tried entering the code on my pc, my phone, and the quest 2 with the same result.

Google tells me that someone else has asked this question on this forum... but there is no search feature for the forum?

In which app are you trying to enter the code. And where are you getting the code from?

hey bob,

so im trying the simple installer. I've turned on developer mode in all places and plugged my headset in, got the notification for RSA fingerprinting and all that jazz.

once i got the green lights, clicked to install sidequest on my quest 2.

On the quest 2, I saw the sidequest app and clicked on it. This brought up a browser window with a blue background and a message to visit sdq.st/link and enter this 6 digit code.

I first went back to my browser on my pc, went to the link, entered the code... and nothing happened on the quest.

Tried on my phone, nothing on the quest.

Tried from the browser on the quest, same result. I can't get past this screen on my quest 2 with the 6 digit code.

sorry for being so verbose, just want to give you a heads up on what I've done so far.

currently, I'm downloading the advanced app and will give it a go.
