HELP ME PLS HOW TO FIX Device Authorized

everything works fine on side quest and on the quest itself but it doiest connect to side quest its sayd Device Authorized help what to do if it says Device Authorized i tried evrything

On Headset go to settings - system - for developers - allow checkbox "MTP Notifications". Reboot headset. Connect USB Cable. Allow USB debug.

I ran into this problem today and solved:

My USB cable was plugged into a (blue) USB3.0 port and showed as Device Unauthorized.

After plugging it into the one (red) USB4 port I have, the Device Unauthorized turned to green and solved the issue.

Hello there,

It might be worth restarting your headset, also disabling and re-enabling dev mode.

You may also have a faulty USB cable. Try a few spare cables you may have or if possible, borrow one just to be sure before potentially buying a new one. Also try using different USB ports as well as flipping the type C end around 180 degrees.

In some cases users have had to re-verify their developer account too ( by adding a credit card rather than a phone number ). In some cases toggling dev mode and factory resetting has also helped.

If possible, try using another PC from a friend or family member too and try the SideQuest app from the play store on Android.
