New and confused on what Installer to use.

I recently got an Oculus Quest 2. I want to install Sidequest on my headset but there are several options for the installer depending on the OS. I installed my Quest through my iPhone. I have an iMac and not a PC. If I go to the Sidequest website via my headset, the only option is the Linux installer. Is this the one I would use?

Hello there,

All you need to do is just go to the Sidequest website via your Mac and you should see the sidequest installer for your OS on the download page.

Easy installer is just for putting sidequest onto the headset so you don't need a PC / Mac to install games once installed the first time. Advanced installer lets you do all the other stuff like backing up games for example, but it sounds like you'll want the easy installer.

There is a ARM and non ARM version so just double check which one you have before downloading.

When you got all of that sorted out I recommend you change the quality settings on sidequest to really get the most out of the quest 2!
