I’m trying to connect my Oculus Quest 2 to my PC for BMBF, and it’s showing my Oculus as “Not Detected”. Why is this happening?

When you plug it in, you need to look inside the headset and select 'Allow this computer to make changes'. If that's not appearing, you might have hit 'Don't show again' accidentally and need to go into the developer settings to re-allow it.

Hey there traveller!
Sorry you are having trouble, it can be frustrating when things dont work right. Try to follow the setup steps again to make sure you have completed them all correctly. You may also find luck in this driver tutorial for windows users - https://sdq.st/drivers. Please note Windows 7, 8 and 11 are not supported, 32bit windows is not supported on any version and chromebooks are not supported.

Make sure Developer Mode is enabled on the device from your phone. It gets disabled for me sometimes, especially after updates.

It could be a bad connection. Try plugging it in again. If the problem still persists, try using a different cable
