Cannot connect PC and Oculus Quest 2

I have been trying to connect my pc and oculus quest 2 for a long time and I always get this message "A task failed. Check the tasks screen for more info. ALVR - Oculus Quest: ALVR - Oculus Quest: Apk install failed - No device connected!" I believe I followed every step any specific cables or software I need? Any ideas?

Hi Please ensure you have followed ALL the set up steps correctly and are using the latest version of Sidequest. https://sdq.st/setup - specifically make sure you have enabled the developer mode.

One of the most common reasons why your quest isn't recognized by SideQuest is you haven't given all the permissions in the headset. After you connect your Quest to your PC and start SideQuest, put on your headset and allow ALL permissions - in addition to file transfer you also will be asked to allow USB debugging.

If that doesn't happen, try different USB cable / port on your computer.

After 37 rolled out I'm experiencing the same thing it worked prior to this I've checked on my headset settings that nothing is changed. It literally worked an hour before I got a notification about 37 now it will not work no matter how many times I reboot everything it just won't work I'm very ticked off nothing should be this difficult. This reminds me of the early Linux days
