Hi there, this can be caused by a VPN or web filter or public/hotel wifi. Can you connect a different way? This is due to android ( which quest runs on ) needing to verify certificates in game files at the point of install.

Hi there - I am 2 years late to this chat, but I am haivng the same problem. I am staying in a hotel and connected to the hotel wifi, so I thought maybe that was it based on your suggestion, but I have just connected both my laptop and my Quest 2 to my iPhone hotspot, plus they are linked by a wired connection, but I am still getting the UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY error. Any other ideas? Thanks
