How do i use air link instead of a link cable or can i not

Hi,

Airlink is only to play PCVR games on the Quest, it's not a replacement for USB cables. You can switch to wireless mode after you've done the first initial connection in the top left corner of Advanced Installer.

Well where do I get a USB cable i think it's just a waste for only SideQuest.

The cable you use to charge your Quest 2. That is a USB cable.
