SideQuest IP Address is Different than Quest 2 IP Address

I have suddenly had the experience of the IP address in Sidequest be different from the one displayed in my wi-fi settings on my Quest 2. Does anyone have any information about why that would be? It is occurring when I am connected via USB and as well as when I am wirelessly connected to Sidequest. It also happens if I use a Mobile Hot Spot.

Hi,

It just saved the last known address (it changes dynamically on your router), it should grab the IP automatically while you have the headset connected via USB.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, it is a persistent issue. I can no longer use BMBF to upload songs to Beat Saber as the BMBF IP address is ALWAY different than the WiFi IP network/Quest 2 IP address. SideQuest now shows the same IP address as Beat Saber, which is different from the Quest WiFi one. I have rebooted multiple times and tried different Wi-Fi networks, including, as stated above, a mobile hotspot with the same issue. Side Quest can still access the headset, and I have full functionality there, but Beat Saber is my favorite game, and not being able to upload songs is a downer. I have tried ADB port forwarding commands, but also without success.

Hi, you're saying SideQuest is running fine with full functionality? In that case I can't be much more assistance sorry, as this place is only for SideQuest specific issues.

I would recommend heading over the beat saber modding discord for game specific issues.

I agree, it's not so much about Beat Saber, but the fact that SideQuest is picking up the same incorrect, non-working IP address.
I was hoping that someone familiar enough with SideQuest could help me redirect SideQuest to the correct IP address being shown in my headset. I would then try to apply that solution to Beat Saber as well. I have tired some ADB TCP forwarding commands without any luck.

I have, of course been to the Beat Saber modding discord site and there is no help there, but I appreciate your pointing out the reference for those who might be unaware of that great resource.
