6 digit code says welp.. instead of code

When I try to get the 6 digit code when opening the sidequest app in my vr it says something went wrong and try again later with a welp...? How do iI fix this because I have basically been given no code?

Try restarting the headset or reinstalling the app.

Ok so I look at this because I had the same problem and quess what NOTHING HAPPENED.

Try downloading the Sideception from Sidequest instead. It's the same app just installed via a different method.
