Ive done absolutely everything the fix it for me tells me to do, my cable is fine and works well in other applications (Both SteamVR and Oculus App on PC) and have absolutely no clue why its not working. Uninstalled and reinstalled sidequest multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, updated and restarted my quest, restarted my pc. Absolutely nothing is working SOS

UPDATE: Ive gone and tried everything ive seen on any subreddit or this forum that people have claimed to use. Also used a brand New cable my brother just bought. Still didnt work

Hello there,
It might be worth restarting your headset, also disabling and re-enabling dev mode.
You may also have a faulty USB cable. Try a few spare cables you may have or if possible, borrow one just to be sure before potentially buying a new one. Also try using different USB ports as well as flipping the type C end around 180 degrees.
In some cases users have had to re-verify their developer account too ( by adding a credit card rather than a phone number ). In some cases toggling dev mode and factory resetting has also helped.
If possible, try using another PC from a friend or family member too and try the SideQuest app from the play store on Android.

Ive tried everything with absolutely nothing show for it. Sidequest used to be so easy and user friendly and now this is just insane. Ive toggled developer mode, my dev account already has a CC attached to it, ive flipped my USB Cable and tried many different ports, my cable works JUST FINE in every other app on my PC.

Meta are the ones that have added the extra steps just to get into dev mode sorry.

Adb is very strict on the condition of the cable, trust me. I had 3 cables I thought would work fine, but I had to use a new cable to get sidequest working again. I would recommend getting a good quality new cable, and give it a go first.

It may still work for normal file transfer and charging, but it may not work for ADB, which is what side quests needs to connect to the quest. Please try a new cable.
