I was previously able to install a couple .apk apps onto my Quest 2 using Sidequest. However, now newly installed apps don't show up in the app launcher. The older ones are there and still work fine. I don't get an error message when installing, and Sidequest shows it as successfully installed in the task list.
Someone suggested that I Factory Reset my Quest 2, but I'd rather not. Do I lose all progress made in games? Is there a way to back this up first?

Inside your headset, on the home screen, you'll see a button on the right with a 3x3 square grid inside it labelled 'App Libary', click that and go to the top right of the new window that pops up and you'll see 'All', click that and select 'Unknown Sources' at the bottom of the drop-down list.
Now you'll see all the games you've installed from SideQuest and then be able to select them to start playing!

Thanks for the reply BOBWORKS, but I know where to find the installed in the menu. As I mentioned, I had other APKs installed and they were working fine. My problem is any new app I try to install doesn't show up.

Hi Shane. Unfortunately, it seems to be all of them now. In fact, in a failed effort to fix/troubleshoot I un-installed the apps that were working (and appeared correctly in the menu) and now I can't install those either. Specifically, I had Microsoft Edge browser, Outlook mail client, and the SideQuest app. I was trying to load the 1Password app when I noticed the problem. Now I don't have any sideloaded apps appearing on the Quest 2 dispite SideQuest reporting that they install successfully.
This problem occurs only if you have multiple Meta accounts registered on your Quest.
If you install any APK via SideQuest and it doesn't appear in your profile's "Unknown Sources" folder, it has probably been installed to another Meta account.
I think this happens because when you have multiple accounts registered and you start your Quest, it asks you to confirm the correct account. If you install any APK during this process and before confirming the account, it is not guaranteed that it will be installed to the correct account.
Is there another way to get support from SideQuest, like opening a support ticket or contacting directly?
