How or where to delete sideloaded apk:s? do i need to?

Hello SideQuest Community support

On the Quest 2 app for sidequest (inside headset) i was downloading a app (sideload/downloaded a APK to install). The headset prompted me (andrid overlay) to allow sidequest to install apps, as i did.

The app restarted and i had to press download on the app again. Do i now have a second apk waiting to be installed? The sorage is precious on the quest 2 there for im asking;

Do i need to delete APK (the install file) after dowloading them? (only if i want to save space) or do the sidequest app take care of this automaticly? / Is there a "downloads folder" i need to empty? Could not see anything is the Quest files app but i assume this is a "slim" edition of what files are on the quest.

Hello there,

If you're downloading the same game again it will just overwrite the one you already have. The apk is only cached temporarily.

You're welcome to use SideQuest on the PC and find the SideQuest installation in the installed list and forcibly clear the cache there too.
