question about Refresh rate setting

Hello I finally installed sidequest and was wondering about the hz settings. In the sidequest program its on 72hz(default) but in the quest 2 settings I had it set to the 120hz even before I installed sidequest. How do those settings differ?

Hello there,

The settings in the SideQuest app to change the Quest hz override what you currently have in the headset. This can be changed anytime but needs to be reapplied on restart or game change.

So is it better to set 120hz in the sidequest app instead of the quest 2 settings menu?

You get the same outcome either way you do it. One will stick, and the other will need to be reapplied every reboot or game change.
