No gaming PC just a Micro PC

Hi Everyone,

I just wondered if there is a way to down load Side quest to my Meta Quest 2 as my PC has no Graphics card it wont pair. I don't want to stream PC VR games through it I just want to be able to use some of the files that you can transfer to the quest 2 and run natively, is this at all possible? Or do I need to fork out for a gaming PC which I really don't want!

Any PC will run SideQuest as long as the OS is supported on the download page. You must have other issues.

Hello there,

It sounds like you may have a faulty USB cable. Try a few spare cables you may have or if possible, borrow one just to be sure before potentially buying a new one. Also, try using different USB ports and flipping the type C end around 180 degrees.

If you’re able to get a USB connection even for just a moment, use the ‘Enable wireless mode’ in the SideQuest app.

I would recommend using the easy installer next time you find a working cable and put Sidequest straight onto the headset.

Sounds like great advice, I hope its good advice as the pairing says i need the Oculus PC app paired and this is where its telling me it cant pair as my PC is not compatible because there is no graphics card, I will try your advice tomorrow as its too late now, thanks in advance.

The oculus message is just to say your graphics card isn't compatible with playing PC VR games. This has nothing to do with SideQuest.
